Suspicious Package Report At Lincoln Center Unfounded, Police Say

The bomb squad was not been called to the scene.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police investigated reports of a suspicious package at Lincoln Square on Wednesday morning, an NYPD spokesman said.

Reports of a suspicious package at West 63rd Street and Columbus Avenue came in around 10:30 a.m., police said. The reports were unfounded, and police did not find any packages at the scene, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The bomb squad was not been called to the location, an NYPD spokesman said.
