The teacher's penalty could have been more severe if she hadn't returned the electronics to PS 9 after school administrator's lodged a complaint, the Post reported.
Kan switched jobs from PS 9 to the Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua for the 2016-2017 school year, the Post reported. After leaving PS 9 she took materials donated through the website DonorsChoose.org — including six iPads, five MacBooks, 10 iPods and "educational robots" — with her to the school in the Westchester County suburb, the Post reported.
