Upper West Side Fire: FDNY On Scene At Residential Building

No injuries have been reported so far, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Firefighters operated at the scene of a fire Thursday afternoon at a five-story residential building on West 82nd Street near Central Park West, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. on the building's third floor, an FDNY spokesman said. The fire was eventually brought under control shortly before 1 p.m., according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported during the blaze, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

The fire marshall's office will investigate the cause of the fire, officials said.
