UWS Saw The Most Residents Leave NYC During The Pandemic: Report
Three of the top four city ZIP codes that had the most residents exit NYC from March to October are in the UWS, according to the NY Post.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side saw more residents leave the city from March 1 to Oct. 31, 2020, than any other neighborhood in New York City, according to the New York Post.
The Post obtained change of address requests between the two dates from the U.S. Postal Service, which shows that over 300,000 New Yorkers fled the city during the coronavirus pandemic.
At the top of the list were residents from the Upper West Side.

- Upper West Side, 10023: 3,368 residents who left
- Upper West Side, 10025: 3,000 residents who left
- Murray Hill, 10016: 2,889 residents who left
- Upper West Side, 10024: 2,708 residents who left
- Chelsea/Greenwich Village, 10011: 2,520 residents who left
