Warby Parker To Open New Upper West Side Store
The new store will open Dec. 2 on Columbus Avenue between West 68th and 69th streets.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Eyeglasses retailer Warby Parker is set to open a new store on the Upper West Side.
The new Upper West Side location is one of two Warby Parker stores opening in New York City on Saturday, Dec. 2, a company spokeswoman said. The store will be located at 185 Columbus Ave. between West 68th and 69th streets.
The Columbus Avenue store — like many other Warby Parker locations — will incorporate design elements such as brass detailing and suspended globe lighting to evoke the feel of a classic library. The store will also feature a cityscape mural by Brooklyn-based illustrator JooHee Yoon, according to a Warby Parker press release.

The second Warby Parker store opening Saturday will be located in Rockefeller Center, according to a Warby Parker press release. With the opening of the two new stores, Warby Parker will have 8 New York City locations. The company first opened its offices in SoHo in 2010.
