Woman Stabbed By Ex-Boyfriend In Upper West Side Public Housing Building: Report

A 45-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times by her ex-boyfriend in the Frederick Douglass Houses public housing development

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A woman was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend just before midnight Tuesday, and police are still searching for the suspect, according to a report.

The 45-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times in front of 845 Columbus Avenue — an apartment building in the Frederick Douglass Houses public housing development near West 100th Street — and was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, police told NBC New York.

As of Wednesday police were still searching for the woman's ex-boyfriend, who has been named the suspect in the stabbing, NBC New York reported.
