4 People Arrested For Breaking Into A Slew Of Vehicles: Police

Nassau police said an investigation shows the individuals are connected to grand larcenies on three occasions last month.

WANTAGH, NY — Four people were arrested early Tuesday for breaking into parked vehicles in Wantagh.

Nassau police say a call came in regarding several people breaking into cars on Lawrence Drive. Thereafter, a stolen Jaguar, which had been involved in an accident in North Bellmore, was located by officers. The three male suspects fled on foot. Officers and the K-9 unit canvassed the area.

While searching, officers spotted a suspicious black Honda Accord circling. The driver, Linette Kay Richards, 21 of Elmont, was arrested in connection to the larcenies.

After an extensive search, the other three people were located and arrested:

  • Jean Renoldson, 22, Brooklyn
  • Honore Philippeaux, 23, Brooklyn
  • Omary Black, 22, Queens

Feb. 28, Valley Road, Wantagh

They face charges that range from unauthorized use of a vehicle to criminal possession of stolen property.

They were expected to be arraigned on Wednesday in Hempstead.
