SEAFORD, NY — A pair of jet skiers whose craft capsized got a helping hand from a good Samaritan Sunday evening who pulled them from the water, police said.
Nassau County police said the overturned jet ski was called in at 6:11 p.m. Sunday in Seaford. Police responding to the incident found that the two men had been assisted in getting out of the water by the still unidentified good Samaritan, police said.
Once out of the water, police said the jet skiers were taken to the Treasure Island Marina where patrol officers and an ambulance awaited. The man who was driving the jet ski was hospitalized and listed in stable condition while the passenger on the jet ski refused medical attention, police said.
