Commitment To Service Pledge To Commemorate 9/11 Anniversary

SEAFORD, NY — The 20th anniversary of 9/11 will be commemorated with a National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Seaford High School has set up a Commitment to Service Pledge. Residents can suggest individual, community or school service projects, the Seaford Chamber of Commerce posted on its Facebook page.

Residents are encouraged to participate in one service activity this year. The pledge will be recognized at the annual September 11 candle lighting ceremony.
