Community Resident Campaigning for King-Sweeney's Vacant Seat
Would you "Pencil In" a Town of Hempstead Board candidate?
Since Erin Sweeney-King announce she will not be seeking re-election for the Town Of Hempstead Board 5th District seat I have been trying to find out how to get on the ballot. I have been getting a complete run-around. At this point, I am not going to get on the ballot so I am going to campaign as a "Pencil In" candidate.
If you live in the Town of Hempstead, you are just a regular resident, and have gone to the Town for help, you have probably experienced what I have. Poor service, dysfunctional systems and disrepect are among the negative expereinces Town of Hempstead residents are exposed to when seeking town assistance. This needs to change. Residents must be treated evenly and fairly with respect when seeking town services.
Aren't you tired of bueracratic red tape? The people who govern residents should support them and not allow one to endure chaos and undue stress when trying to obtain a permit.
