Crime Nearby: Little League Bathrooms Damaged, Phone Scam

Bellmore
- On Feb. 27, Jessica Valenti, 31, of Levittown, was arrested at King Kullen, 2730 Sunrise Highway, Bellmore and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and one violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
- On Feb. 27, Autilia Geary, 40, of North Bellmore, was arrested at Kohl’s, 5300 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
Merrick
- On Feb 27, Akeem Smith, 27, of Freeport, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near the Meadowbrook Parkway, Merrick and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and one violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
- On Feb. 29, Deborah Errico, 51, of Merrick, was arrested on Neptune Avenue near Manhasset Street, Seaford and charged with driving while ability impaired and one violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
- On March 3, a complainant discovered the passenger side window of her 2010 red Toyota damaged and her pocketbook stolen. This happened while she was at St. Demetrious Church.
- On March 5, Mario Mujica, 27, of Merrick, was arrested on Frankel Boulevard, Merrick and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law.

- A complainant discovered that her jewelry box containing jewelry was missing from her residence. This happened on Maplewood Drive sometime between Feb. 26 and March 1.
- On Feb. 27, Russell Blessington, 67, of Massapequa, was arrested at the Seventh Precinct in Seaford and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
- Sometime between Feb. 29 and March 3, a commercial robbery was reported on Jackson Avenue. The point of entry was the second story window and no loss was reported.
- On March 3, complainant received a call from who she believed to be her granddaughter who was in jail in Canada and needed money via Western Union.
- On March 3, Robert Penta, 43, of Massapequa, was arrested at the Seventh Precinct in Seaford and charged with petit larceny.
- On March 5, Debra Pontieri-Collins, 53, of Seaford, was arrested at Wal-Mart, 200 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with Petit Larceny.
Wantagh
- Sometime between Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, the bathrooms at Duck Pond baseball field on Duck Pond Drive North were damaged.
- On March 2, a home on Deer Lane was burglarized. It was entered through the rear door and miscellaneous items were reported.
- An unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter from complainant’s 1999 Toyota gray SR5 while it was parked at the Wantagh railroad station on March 2.
- On March 5, an unknown suspect stole scrap metal from a complainant’s front yard.
