SEAFORD, NY —There was a fire Saturday morning at a Burger King restaurant as flames could be seen pouring out of the roof. Police arrived at the Seaford location at 10:13 a.m. and the fire was already under control. There were no injuries, Nassau police said. Although the fire appeared to be contained to the roof, the Burger King, located at 3960 Sunrise Highway, did evacuate employees and customers temporarily, police said. No cause was determined for the blaze.
