The Fray Announce Jones Beach Concert, First New Album In 12 Years

WANTAGH, NY. — Long Islanders will have the chance to learn how to save a life this summer, as The Fray announced a nationwide tour to accompany the release of their first album in a dozen years. Featured on that tour is a date at the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 22, with guest performances from Dashboard Confessional and Colony House.
The announcement came Monday, with tickets scheduled to go on sale Friday morning. The new album, titled, "A Light That Waits," will be released Mar. 13. The album is available for pre-saving on Spotify, SoundCloud, Amazon Music and other platforms.
As for the "Summer of Light Tour," performances will kick off Feb. 21 at the Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ, with the band traveling across the U.S. and Canada before they conclude their tour dates Aug. 29 in Chicago, IL.
