Hundreds Gather In Seaford For Annual 9/11 Candle Lighting

Five Seaford High School alumni, who died on 9/11, were remembered on Sunday.

SEAFORD, NY — A steady rain didn't damper the 9/11 Memorial Candle Lighting. The evening vigil at Seaford High School brought out the usual large crowd to honor victims of the terror attacks from 21 years earlier.

The community also remembered the five alumni who died on 9/11-- brothers Timothy Haskell and Thomas Haskell, John Perry, Robert Sliwak and Michael Wittenstein.

Their families joined hundreds of Seaford neighbors in the tribute.
