Hundreds Of Thousands Flock To DC In Support Of Israel

Rep. D'Esposito, who attended the March for Israel said, "anti-Semitism will never be tolerated here."

WASHINGTON, DC — Nearly 300,000 people flooded the National Mall in solidarity with Israel on Tuesday.

The march came amid a rise in anti-Semitism across the country.

Congressman Anthony D'Esposito (R-Island Park) was among the dignitaries in attendance.

"I was proud to stand alongside freedom-loving Americans in the heart of our nation's capital to demonstrate our support for our Israeli allies as they fight to defeat the evil forces of the Hamas terror group," D'Esposito said.

Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on Oct. 7, killed more than 1,200 people and took more than 200 hostages.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and County Legislator Mazi Pilip, a one-time IDF paratrooper, also participated in the pro-Israel rally.

"[It] sent a loud and clear message that anti-Semitism will never be tolerated here in the United States, and that the phrase 'never again' is more than just a slogan, but that it is our rallying cry," D'Esposito added.
