ICYMI: Gas Prices Surge Across LI, Jumping 20 Cents In A Week

SEAFORD-WANTAGH, NY — Gas prices are steadily increasing on Long Island.

The average price across Nassau and Suffolk counties was $4.08 per gallon a month ago, according to AAA Northeast. But the trend has been going in the wrong direction. Last week, it jumped to $4.48 per gallon across the island.

The latest Long Island average is up to $4.74.
