Korn Postpones Jones Beach Concert; Singer COVID-19 Positive

The rock band rescheduled its date until September 28.

WANTAGH, NY — Fans of Korn will have to wait until next month to see the band at Jones Beach. The August 17 date was postponed, along with other concerts, as the band confirmed singer Jonathan Davis, 50, tested positive for COVID-19, the band wrote on their Instagram page.

The Jones Beach show was shuffled until September 28.

Korn rescheduled a handful of other performances and canceled two others for upstate New York with group Staind.

"As always, our primary goal is to ensure the safety of everyone involved, so this is something that has to be done," Korn wrote on their Instagram post.

Tickets for Aug. 17 will be honored at the Sept. 28 Jones Beach concert, Newsday reported.
