WANTAGH, NY — It's not much, but drivers will take the slight decrease in gas prices.

On average, filling up the tank on Long Island is $4.45 per gallon. That is just off from Sunday's price of $4.46, according to AAA.

However, it's still up nearly 20 cents from just a week ago.

The state's average is virtually unchanged for Monday at $4.45 per gallon.
