Local artist Dawn Nagle launches online art gallery

Artist Dawn Nagle recently launched a new online gallery - www.DawnNagleGallery.com - featuring prints and original artwork. The prints are produced in the United States on heavy, archival, acid-free paper and can be ordered in various sizes framed and unframed. Original art and other top artists will be featured in the next few months. Original art can be commissioned as well

Ms. Nagle credits her mom with her creativity and artistic talents. "My mom was a painter and very creative in everything she did... whether it was interior decorating, fashion, flower arranging, or painting," shared Ms. Nagle, "She had an innate talent for making things beautiful."

Ms. Nagle's mother died in 1993 at the age of 47. "I miss my mom everyday. She believed in me. She always inspired me to follow my heart. She taught me about love and loyalty to family and friends; to love the beach, nature, and the simple things in life. To enjoy life, to laugh... and to have a great sense of humor. She encouraged my imagination, curiosity, and passion for art and music. I know my mom is proud of me and I know she would love what I'm doing right now with the gallery."

Ms. Nagle continues, "I couldn't have put this together without the help of my husband, Michael Schmidt. He's always willing to schlep equipment, take photos, shoot video, frame art, and anything else I beg him to do. Huge thanks also to my son Christopher for being such an inspiration to me. And my dad and sister for their love, encouragement, and for putting up with me all these years! I owe all my friends and family a debt of gratitude."
