Local Library Holds Ukraine Fundraiser

SEAFORD, NY — The War in Ukraine is impacting people from Long Island with various charitable efforts to help families in need.

The Seaford Library is doing its part with a donation drive in the lobby.

Items sought include medical supplies, non-perishable food and personal hygiene products.

Donations can be dropped off during library hours Monday-Saturday.

Items will be sent to Ukrainian churches or organizations across the island for distribution overseas.

The drive is coordinated by the library and the Seaford Chamber of Commerce.
