Man Arrested For Burglarizing Seaford Home: Cops

The burglary occurred back in November 2014.

A Copiague man was arrested on Monday for burglarizing a Seaford home in November 2014, according to Nassau County Police.

On November 3, 2014, 40-year-old Sean Tutt, entered a home on Jackson Avenue through a side window and took some assorted items, which he placed in a bag, police said.

The homeowner returned home while Tutt was still in the house, causing him to flee, police said.

He dropped the items after the homeowner attempted to grab him, according to police.

Tutt was later identified by latent fingerprints that were taken from the scene and by the homeowner positively identifying him in a photo array, police said.

On Monday, the Bureau of Special Operations police officers found and arrested Tutt in Copiague, police said.

He is being charged with second degree burglary and will be arraigned on Tuesday, according to police.
