Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. WANTAGH, NY — A man is sought by police for robbing the TD Bank on Wantagh Avenue. It happened at 11:44 a.m. Sunday when the man handed a note to the female teller demanding money, detectives said.Police did not indicate if the man had a weapon. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot westbound onto Jerusalem Avenue, police said. The man is believed to be between in his late 30s and early 40s, detectives said. There were no injuries and police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
