Man Sought For Robbing LI Bank: Nassau Police

WANTAGH, NY — A man is sought by police for robbing the TD Bank on Wantagh Avenue. It happened at 11:44 a.m. Sunday when the man handed a note to the female teller demanding money, detectives said.

Police did not indicate if the man had a weapon.

The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot westbound onto Jerusalem Avenue, police said.

The man is believed to be between in his late 30s and early 40s, detectives said.

There were no injuries and police are investigating.
