Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. WANTAGH, NY – Nassau Police are searching for a man who tried to lure children to his care by offering them candy earlier this week. It happened around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday in Wantagh. Police say an older white man wearing a blue and red baseball hat approached children on Southview Avenue in an older model silver/gray sedan.He attempted to get the children to come to his vehicle by offering them candy, police say. He then fled eastbound on Eastview Avenue when the children refused to approach the car. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. WANTAGH, NY – Nassau Police are searching for a man who tried to lure children to his care by offering them candy earlier this week.

It happened around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday in Wantagh.
