Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. WANTAGH, NY — Someone tried to rob a bank in Wantagh on Wednesday morning, police said. The man entered the Bank of America on Park Avenue just before 10 a.m. He gave the teller a note demanding money, but the teller did not comply. The man fled through the rear doors, police said. There were four employees and no customers inside the bank at the time. No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
