WANTAGH, NY– November 6, 2014 – Several area business owners and marketers were educated and inspired as professionals from Mineola-based public relations, marketing and digital services agency HLD Communications and parent company Didit conducted an informative presentation at their quarterly Coffee Connections seminar on October 9, 2014. Entitled “Building a Winning Website for 2015,” a panel of experts from the agency covered topics ranging from website design and layout, to website content and search engine optimization.

Executive Vice President / Chief Creative Officer Ed Brennan, of Wantagh, who served as the moderator of the seminar, provided professional counsel on the most effective tactics in website layout and design for a business or organization, and discussed the importance of mobile capabilities and the analysis of website data.
PR / Content Marketing Vice President Liz Burke, of Long Beach, offered direction and tips in writing content for a website platform. She also provided ways in which to maximize content, such as the tactic of repurposing press releases into authoritative blogs.

Search Marketing Group Account Director Eric Wiggins, of Port Jefferson Station, discussed the methods in utilizing paid search tactics to drive traffic to a website, while Social Media Director Ana Raynes, of Narragansett, Rhode Island, offered tips in enhancing content for organic search engine optimization.
Digital Services Director Hakan Sinar, of Commack, spoke to the advantages of using a Content Management System (CMS) to build a website and offered insight into the top CMS’s of today.
