Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. WANTAGH, NY — While COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots are underway for qualifying Long Islanders, many school-aged students haven't been eligible for the first dose. However, in the Wantagh School District, where masking is mandatory indoors for everyone, the number of COVID-19 cases has remained low. Through Sept. 29, the district had 62 positives, with one new case involving a student at Wantagh Middle School, the district said on its website. There were 13 COVID-19 on Sept. 1, the first day of school. On Sept. 20, six students and a staffer tested positive for the virus. Since school started, Wantagh Middle School had 18 students test positive and Wantagh Elementary had 17 positive results.
