Motorcyclist Killed Crashing Into Pickup Truck: Nassau Police

WANTAGH, NY — A fatal accident took place Sunday afternoon in Wantagh, police said.

A man was riding a motorcycle was heading northbound on Wantagh Avenue when he collided with a Ford F150 pickup truck near the intersection of Lea Ann Terrace at approximately 1:40 p.m.

The victim was identified on Monday by police as Michael Bozzo, 49, of Wantagh.

The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead just after 2 p.m., police said.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene. Police are investigating.
