Multiple Weapons, Ammunition Discovered In Nassau Home: Police
Charles Musarra was placed into custody Saturday night, police said.

SEAFORD, NY — A homeowner was placed in custody over the weekend for having a large of ammunition and firearms in his living room, police said.
Charles Musarra, 62, was charged Saturday night with first-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police were responding to a Chevy van on fire in a Seaford driveway. The flames were starting to spread to the adjacent home as the Wantagh Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
Officers and firefighters checked the house for occupants when the weapons were spotted, authorities said.

Musarra was expected to be arraigned on Monday.
