Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. SEAFORD, NY — A homeowner was placed in custody over the weekend for having a large of ammunition and firearms in his living room, police said. Charles Musarra, 62, was charged Saturday night with first-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police were responding to a Chevy van on fire in a Seaford driveway. The flames were starting to spread to the adjacent home as the Wantagh Fire Department extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported. Officers and firefighters checked the house for occupants when the weapons were spotted, authorities said. Musarra was expected to be arraigned on Monday.
