A Wantagh man was arrested by state police on Wednesday night and charged with carrying more than a pound of marijuana with him.According to police, state troopers pulled over a 2009 Mercedes on the Meadowbrook State Parkway just before 10 p.m. for excessively tinted windows. After investigating, police say the troopers found that the driver, Jordan C. Lambert, 19, of Wantagh, had 17.2 ounces of marijuana in his car. Lambert was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and driving while ability impaired by drugs. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.Photo: Shutterstock
