Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. WANTAGH, NY — A man was seriously hurt walking across a Wantagh street on Tuesday evening. The 51-year-old victim was crossing Jerusalem Avenue when he was struck by a Mercedes Benz SUV, authorities said. The victim was rushed to a hospital with head trauma and is listed in critical condition, police said. The 62-year-old driver remained at the scene and the vehicle was impounded for safety checks. Police are investigating.
