Police Chase Ends With Injured Officer: Reports
The chase started on the Southern State and spilled over onto residential streets, reports say.

Reports say that a police chase spilled off the Southern State and onto residential streets in Wantagh Wednesday afternoon, leaving one officer injured.
According to the Wantagh-Seaford Herald, the chase began on the Southern State Parkway around 3 p.m. and the driver got off the parkway at Wantagh Avenue. The driver was finally stopped on Hunt Avenue, the Herald reported. The car was stopped about a mile from the parkway's exit.
According to News 12 reporters, one officer was injured during the chase.
