Salk-MacArthur PTSA Hosts Psychic Fundraiser

Sold out event with sychic medium Josephine Ghiringhelli held at Salk Middle School.

Psychic medium Josephine Ghiringhelli has touched the lives of thousands over the course of her career, providing comfort and closure connecting to client's loved ones that have passed on.

Ghiringhelli took the stage at Salk Middle School last Thursday evening where she spoke about her spirituality and tapped into the hearts of several Levittown, Wantagh and Seaford residents. Salk Middle School is part of the Levittown School District and attended by students in northern sections of Wantagh and Seaford.

Ghiringhelli said the ability as a psychic, to predict what's coming in the future and speak to those from the past, reached her at a young age, but she began to embrace it more as an adult.

"It was really very frightening to me," said Ghiringhelli, a Coram resident. "I was a kid and it wasn't very pleasant. There was no one I could talk to about it."

Ghiringhelli pursued the study of psychology in college as she loved the workings of the mind. She continued on to work with the Drug Enforcement Administration for several years before taking medium work on as a full time job.

Ghiringhelli suffered great loss in her life as her brother, sister, parents and son passed away over the years - all which instilled remarkable faith in what she does for a living. She believes faith is most important when it comes to contacting those who have passed on.

"They want to be here for us," Ghiringhelli explained. "Our loved ones are in a better place and all we want is to hold them again. The more you let them know how much you need them, the stronger the messages will be. The more you let them in and trust, the more they will come through."

At Thursday's event, Ghiringhelli was able to tap in to the hearts of several guests, reaching their parents, siblings, friends and more. Ghiringhelli is available for private readings, group sessions and public events.
