Seaford House Fire Displaces 4: Fire Marshal
The fire marshal says the fire drew assistance from Levittown and Bethpage fire departments.
SEAFORD, NY. — The Nassau County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a house fire that broke out Sunday afternoon and displaced four residents of the Seaford home.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal's office said the Wantagh Fire Department received an emergency call at 2:41 p.m. Sunday, with first responders reporting a fire inside a wall at a two-story private residence. In total, 40 firefighters from Wantagh, Levittown and Bethpage would respond to the scene, bringing the blaze under control within 15 minutes, fire officials said.
Firefighters requested Red Cross assistance to help the four people displaced by the blaze, and the fire marshal's office is investigating its cause along with the NCPD arson bomb squad, the fire marshal's office said.
