The Smilist Dental Welcomes Dr. Yoo

The Smilist is pleased to introduce Dr. Jin Yoo, our newest a Periodontist. Dr. Yoo’s clinical skills coupled with his passion for learning new technologies and techniques to care for patients help him perform excellent dentistry. Dr. Yoo served as a General Dentist for many years before going in to complete his Advanced Dental Education Program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Yoo is fluent in Korean. In his spare time, Dr. Yoo enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his dog and golfing.

Periodontists specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal or gum disease. They also place dental implants. Periodontists receive extensive training, including three additional years of education beyond dental school. They are familiar with the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, and are also trained in performing cosmetic periodontal procedures.
