Long Island Teacher's Aide 'Violently' Shook Disabled Girl: Police
The woman who worked at a special needs school turned herself in to authorities Friday.

A 25-year-old woman who was employed as a teacher’s aide is accused of “violently jerking” a disabled child’s head, causing her injuries.
According to authorities, a 39-year-old mother first noticed that her 9-year-old daughter with special needs returned home from the Hagedorn Little Village School, located at 750 Hicksville Road in Seaford, with redness and swelling on her face on May 1, 2015.
The mother took her daughter to a physician the next day after she noticed her daughter’s face was bruising.
