Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. A teen from North Bellmore was arrested Thursday after police say he threatened his high school on social media. According to police, officers responded to Mepham High School, located at 2401 Camp Ave. in Bellmore, to investigate a post on social media that threatened violence against the school. The investigation led police to arrest Jordan Rojas, 17, of Newbridge Road. He was taken into custody without incident. Rojas is charged with making a terroristic threat. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead. Photo: Nassau County Police Department
