Teen Makes Terroristic Threat Toward Nassau High School: Police

Police say he threatened violence against the school on social media.

A teen from North Bellmore was arrested Thursday after police say he threatened his high school on social media.

According to police, officers responded to Mepham High School, located at 2401 Camp Ave. in Bellmore, to investigate a post on social media that threatened violence against the school.

The investigation led police to arrest Jordan Rojas, 17, of Newbridge Road. He was taken into custody without incident.

Rojas is charged with making a terroristic threat. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
