VIDEO: Donald Trump Speaks at Jones Beach Rally
The famous entrepreneur and TV personality makes Wantagh appearance to address the red tape surrounding his Trump on the Ocean endeavor.
Late Wednesday morning, noted business entrepreneur and television personality Donald Trump was the guest of honor at a rally held at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh to support his long-stalled Trump on the Ocean catering facility proposal.
Trump on the Ocean, a project first proposed in 2006 for the site of the former Boardwalk Cafe at Jones Beach, has been long mired in red tape due to disputes with the New York State Parks Department. As expected, Trump was his usual outspoken self when addressing the project delays to the gathered crowd, which included both supporters and opponents of the 70,000 square-foot catering facility.
Wednesday’s rally held next to site where Trump wants to build his upscale establishment was organized by a newly formed advocacy group called Alliance to Revitalize Jones Beach.
