Wantagh Middle School Holds Career Fair
Seventh grade students hear from professionals in 21 different careers.
More than 260 Wantagh Middle School seventh grade students participated in a career fair event on Jan. 11.
Professionals from 21 different careers were stationed at large tables in two cafeterias. The students sat in groups and listened attentively to the experts speak about their careers. The children were able to interact and ask questions.
At 12-minute intervals the students moved to another table. The students were allowed to choose 4 careers to explore.

Nancy O’Connor, a business education teacher at Wantagh Middle School, organized the Career Fair. O’Connor explained that she was, “very thankful to the professionals from our community who volunteered their time and expertise to make the event a success.”
