Wantagh Residents To Decide On $69.5 Bond Referendum
Approval of Tuesday's vote would lead to renovation projects at the five area schools.

WANTAGH, NY — Voters in the Wantagh School District are going to the polls on Tuesday. The district bond vote will take place throughout the day.
Residents will decide on renovation projects at all five schools.
The proposed bond, presented as three propositions, totals $69.5 million, the district said.

Construction work would include, replacing decades-old windows and unit ventilators, upgrading athletic fields at the secondary campus and Forest Lake Elementary School, new playground equipment for the three elementary schools and renovating the library media center and cafeteria at Wantagh High School.
Voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Forest Lake, Mandalay and Wantagh elementary schools.
