The $98,381,547 budget for next school year is a 3.87 percent increase in the budget over this year's, which the district plans to fund through a $71,388,942 tax levy. That tax levy, the district says, is an increase of 3.48 percent over this year’s budget, falling just below the maximum allowable tax levy of $71,389,062.
The Beech Street proposition, now passed, will allow the district to sell the property to a developer who plans to build a pair of single-family homes on the property, district officials said. District officials previously said the property would fetch a $1.075 million price on the market.
