The Wantagh School District thanks the community for supporting the 2020-2021 school budget. The budget passed 2,048 (Yes) to 753 (No).

Superintendent of Schools John McNamara said, “I would like to thank the community for taking time to vote. Your support of the 2020-2021 school budget allows the district to continue to offer students the highest quality instructional programs, providing not only the resources for academic success, but the foundation for lifelong learning and achievement.”

Mr. McNamara also congratulated Adam Fisher, who was elected to an additional three-year term on the board of education, and Tara Cassidy, who defeated Board President Elizabeth Guber.
