Wantagh School District Welcomes New Teachers
The 19 new faculty members got a tour of the district where they'll be working starting this year.

The Wantagh School district welcomed 19 new faculty members during the New Teacher Orientation Program, held Aug. 25 to 30.
Superintendent of Schools Maureen Goldberg and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction John McNamara introduced the staff to administrators, who discussed technology initiatives, policies and procedures, the district’s special education philosophy and literacy program, benefits and more. There was also time allotted to prepare classrooms and to take a bus tour of the district.
