
Wantagh and Seaford residents will head to the polls Tuesday to vote on the proposed 2015-16 school budget and elect school board candidates.
Wantagh
The proposed budget of $75,711,069 is a .30 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a .01 percent decrease in the school tax levy.

In addition to the proposed budget, incumbent Anthony Greco is running unopposed for the Board of Education.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Forest Lake, Mandalay, and Wantagh elementary schools. Get more information on the school district website here.

Seaford
The proposed budget of $63,637,843 is a 1.6 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a 2.28 percent hike in the school tax levy.
In addition to the proposed budget, Patrick Rail is running unopposed for the Board of Education.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Seaford Manor and Seaford Harbor Elementary Schools. Get more information on the school district website here.
