Wantagh Students Participate in Third Annual 'Art in Heart' Exhibit
Students' work being displayed at Broadway Mall in Hicksville until April 22.

Students from and recently participated in the “Art in Heart” Exhibit, which is part of the nationwide art initiative “Youth Art Month.”
The exhibit is organized by the Long Island Art Teachers Association/Nassau and sponsored by the New York State Art Teachers Association, in affiliation with the National Art Education Association.
The Long Island Art Teachers Association welcomed students, parents, art educators, administrators and community members to attend the exhibit, in which Wantagh had the most students receive an Award of Excellence. In addition, teacher Caitlin Schneider submitted a piece of work that garnered a second-place win.

The exhibit provides a valuable opportunity for the finest young artists in Nassau County to have their work displayed, viewed and judged. The Broadway Mall in Hicksville provided the exhibit space for this extensive display. The show runs through April 22, and can be viewed on April 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Broadway Mall.
