Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. WANTAGH, NY — Students from the Wantagh School District — including the high school, Mandalay, Forest Lake and Wantagh elementary schools — banded together this holiday season to create holiday greeting cards for the residents of Wantagh City Senior Center. Dubbed 'Project Greetings' the endeavor was spearheaded by Miss Wantagh second runner-up Angelina Maciak, a junior from Wantagh High School, as part of an extension of her community service, according to a news release. Maciak, who is encouraged under the Miss Wantagh program to participate in community service, decided that the donation of holiday cards would be the perfect way to cheer up seniors, who have experienced limited visitation this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the news release stated.
