WANTAGH, NY — Hundreds of motorcycles participated in the 9/11 Memorial Ride to New York City on Wednesday, including from Wantagh, Albany and the Hudson Valley. The annual ride honors the strength, courage and heroic actions of the first responders during and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

More than 700 riders converged in New York City this year, riding down the West Side Highway to the World Trade Center site.
