32-Year-Old Man Killed In Manhattan Shooting, Police Say

An East Harlem man died after he was shot in the chest early Sunday morning, police said.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A 32-year-old man died after he was shot in the chest early Sunday morning in Washington Heights, New York City Police Department officials said.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot around 4:25 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West 207th Street and Ninth Avenue, according to the NYPD.

When officers arrived, they found Bryan Scott, 32, with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

Medics took Scott to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in critical condition, where he later died, police said.

Scott lived on East 109th Street in East Harlem, according to the NYPD.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is underway, police said.
