70-Year-Old Punched In Random Greenwich Village Attack: Police
Police are looking for a man accused of randomly punching a 70-year-old in the face in the middle of the day on Saturday.

HUDSON SQUARE, NY — Police are looking for a man who they say randomly punched a 70-year-old on the street in Greenwich Village.
The punch took place Saturday at 12:10 p.m. in front of 96 West Houston Street in Lower Manhattan, according to police.
The 70-year-old man was walking down the street when a man came up to the victim and punched him in the face, leaving a cut on him, police said.

Police did not speculate on a motive behind the attack.
The attacker then fled the scene. The victim was taken to the Beth Israel Medical Center in stable condition.

Police released photos Sunday of the man accused of throwing the punch.
