WEST VILLAGE, NY — Beer lovers can cool off at Houston Hall's Summer Beerfest, an indoor celebration featuring more than 35 beers from over 15 breweries.
The event on Saturday, August. 29, from noon to 5 p.m., will showcase a wide range of craft and classic brews from participating breweries including Five Boroughs Brewing, Sixpoint Brewery, Catskill Brewery, Montauk Brewery, Bronx Brewery, Victory Brewing, Southern Tier Brewing, Captain Lawrence Brewery, KCBC, Three's Brewing, Grimm, Narragansett Brewing, Blue Point, Leffe, Spaten, Golden Road, Elysian and Athletic Brewing.
Admission is $15 and includes a souvenir 5-ounce mug and two beer samples. Additional 5-ounce pours will be available for $5, while full pours and cans will also be available for purchase.
Food options include pretzel bites with beer cheese, hot dogs, empanadas, a cheese and charcuterie plate, and mac and cheese bites, with prices ranging from $5 to $10.
Held inside Houston Hall's air-conditioned beer hall, the festival offers an indoor way to sample new brews and celebrate the summer craft beer scene.
