RenChorNY invites you to experience Sumer is icumen in, a vibrant concert of Renaissance songs, motets, and music inspired by the Renaissance. Featuring works by William Byrd, Josquin Desprez, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Thomas Tallis, Maurice Duruflé, and RenChorNY Music Director Richard Porterfield, this program brings centuries-old music to life with warmth, beauty, and energy.
Performances will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 3 PM at Saint John’s in the Village, 218 W 11th Street, New York, NY, and Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 4 PM at Hudson View Gardens Lounge, 128 Pinehurst Avenue, New York, NY. Tickets are $25, and students attend free.
